Rediscovering your own music

So you’re listening to your music collection when you stumble upon a CD or an MP3 you didn’t know you had. Or you have your iPod on random and it starts playing from playlists you haven’t heard in ages. All of a sudden a song comes on and you say to yourself, “Whoa… this is pretty good. What IS this?” Then you check the display on your media device and realize you’ve had this album for 2 years and never bothered to listen to the whole thing.
Anyone know what I’m talking about? What ‘diamonds in the rough’ have you discovered?
BTW – If you’re wondering what the answer to the “What IS this?” question was, it was two songs by a band called Motion City Soundtrack off of their 2nd album Commit This to Memory. The songs were ‘Resolution’ and ‘Hold Me Down’.
